Message So basically you want a japanese car that can do 11 second runs and put around town in. I suppose that's everyone's dream, but in practicality...you'd be a LOT better off in the vette. My dad owns a c5, he's in a couple clubs, they are all decent guys. Your stereotype of the "vette" guys could be said the same for the "ricers..." (Do you all have fart can mufflers, chopped exhaust systems, and intercoolers with no turbos?...I think not)

My point, wherever you're going to go, stereotypes arise...this doesn't mean they are true. About 50% of all the people in his vette club go to VIR and various other tracks around here, autocross their cars, and do drags. They love being able to drive to Bowling Green, Kentucky on a tank of gas, run 11s drag runs, then drive back down, average 28-30 mpg. So...no, they are not all balding men, they are just above the age of the "ricer" and have the ability to afford the nicer cars.
